IMPORTANT NOTICE:  WALK-IN GROUPS/PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED.
ALL SEATING AREAS AND PARTY ROOMS ARE FOR GENERAL RESTAURANT SEATING, UNLESS A PARTY ROOM IS RESERVED IN ADVANCE.  NO FOOD/CAKE/DECORATIONS/PRESENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE FACILITY UNLESS THEY ARE FOR A PARTY THAT HAS RESERVED ONE OF OUR TWO PARTY ROOMS.  THIS POLICY IS STRICLY ENFORCED!
Q: I see there are set times for birthday parties on the website, is there any way to choose a different start time?
A: During the week (Monday through Thursday) we are more than happy to accommodate different start times for the birthday parties. If you would like to book a party for a time that is not listed on the website, please call Fun and Games directly and a member of our staff will assist you.  Unfortunately, we are unable to change the party times on the Weekends (Friday through Sunday)
Q: What happens to my deposit after I schedule a birthday party?
A: A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit solidifies your reservation and will be applied to the final balance of your party. The deposit is refundable or transferrable up until 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your party. If you cancel or reschedule within 2 weeks, you will be forfeiting your deposit.
Q: What if some of the kids attending our party do not want to play Laser Tag?
A: Anyone that does not want to play Laser Tag will be given extra game credits instead. This ensures that no one is left out of the party. If the entire party decides to opt out of Laser Tag, then all of the guests will receive extra game credits
Q: I am booking a party online and I am being asked for the number of guests, does this include parents, or just children?
A: When estimating the number of guests at booking, the number should only include children. There is no charge for parents to stay for the party unless you decide to purchase credits for them to play the video games.
Q: Am I allowed to have parents drop their kids off, or do they need to stay for the party?
A: We do not require parents to stay for birthday parties, that is up to the host. Depending on how large the party is, as a host you may be more comfortable having a few parents stay to help.
Q: The birthday boy/girl has siblings that will be attending the party but they are younger/older and will not be participating in the Laser Tag but they may want to play video games, will I have to pay for them?
A: If a sibling is participating in every part of the party (playing video games and playing Laser Tag), then they will be counted as a party guest. If a sibling would just like to play a few games and opts out of the Laser Tag, you will not be charged for them.
Q: What happens if I do not meet the minimum for the party room that I have booked?
A: If you do not have the minimum number of children for the party room you are scheduled in, you will be held to paying for the minimum number of children. However, you will receive all of the game credits and Laser Tag that you pay for. You are welcome to use them that day for the kids who attend the party or you can opt to take the additional game credits and Laser Tag as gift certificates to be used another day.
Q: How long does the Laser Tag last for birthday parties?
A: A typical Laser Tag games takes about 15 minutes all together (10 minutes of play time, 5 minutes for setup) but with larger birthday parties it may take up to 25 minutes total to get your party through a round.
Q: I am booking a party online and I see options to add on pizza, drinks, and goodie bags. Is that something that I need to decide now, or can I order those items at a later date?
A: Regardless of whether or not you have ordered any extras, a member of our staff will contact you a few days before the party to get an updated head count, and either confirm the add-ons that you have ordered, or see if you would like to order any of these items. If you know that you definitely want to order these items at booking, you are welcome to add them to your order, but there is time for you to add them after booking.
Q: Am I allowed to bring in my own food?
A: Outside food is not allowed into the arcade.  We now serve our own pizza, tenders, wings, and salads etc.  You are allowed to bring in “pre-packaged” food such as drinks and/or chips.  If you are unsure about what you are allowed to bring in, please give us a call at 508-879-5707.
Q: If I don’t have an exact head count when I order drinks or goodie bags, do I need to order an exact amount?
A: We understand that the guest list for a party usually fluctuates up until the day of the party. Goodie bag and drink numbers can be updated on the fly during a party; pizza is the only thing that needs to be ordered in the appropriate amount before the party.
Q: What is the schedule of events during the party?
A: Each party room operates under a different schedule, as we can accommodate up to 2 parties at the same time. To see a rough schedule events for each room, please see our website, and under ‘birthday parties’ select the party room of the schedule you wish to view.
Q: We may want to do a second game of Laser Tag, is that possible?
A: We can accommodate up to 22 players in Laser Tag at a time. If you have less than 22 guests, you are welcome to do a second game of Laser Tag. If your party is larger than 22 guests, there will only be time for one game per player, as we will have to split the party into two games so that everyone can play. Note: If we do have to split the party into two games, the birthday child(ren) will be allowed to play in both games if they would like.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation for a birthday party, or can we just walk in?
A: Yes, a reservation is required to host a birthday party at Fun and Games. Party rooms must be reserved in advance to ensure that we are adequately staffed to accommodate your party.
Q: Can I have a birthday party without using a party room?
A: If your group would like to come in and play video games and/or laser tag without using a party room (meaning you will not have food), then you are more than welcome to do so. If you would like to eat snacks/pizza/cake then a party room would be required.
Q: When my party goes into laser tag, will there be anyone else playing at the same time?
A: No, laser tag games are always private for the birthday parties, regardless of how many players there are.
Q: Who will be serving food for the party?
A: Typically, the hosts are in charge of handling and serving food for the birthday party. If you do not plan on having any parents stay for the party and you would like help serving food, simply let a staff member know when we call to confirm the details for the party a few days beforehand.
Q: What do I need to bring with me, and what is included in the party, aside from game credits and laser tag?
A: We will provide all of the paper goods for the party (plates, cups, napkins, forks, and spoons) as well as candles, matches, and tablecloths. We also have cake knives if you decide not to bring one with you. All of this is included in the price of the party, and there is no additional cost. All of the paper goods are plain white, and the tablecloths will be a solid color. If you would like to bring any themed items, you are more than welcome to do so.
Q: I would like to bring ice cream or an ice cream cake, do you have freezer space available?
A: Yes. Each party room contains a dorm sized refrigerator for drinks, but we have a full-sized freezer available for your use.
Q: The tablecloths that are provided are a solid color, can I request a specific color for my party?
A: We typically stock red, orange, green, blue, and purple tablecloths regularly. If there is a specific color that you would like to request, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Q: How will the kids know when to go to laser tag, back to the party room, etc.?
A: We will make announcements over our PA system when it is time for kids to move from one activity to another. If there are any additional announcements you would like us to make (time to redeem points, come back to the party room for goodie bags, etc.) we would be more than happy to do so.
Q: Are there any waivers that need to be signed beforehand?
A: No, there are no waivers that need to be signed.
Q: Do the children need to wear specific clothing for laser tag?
A: We do not require any specific attire for laser tag, however we do recommend that the kids wear comfortable clothing and footwear. The black lights will make white clothing glow, so where darker clothing if you want to remain “camouflaged”
Q: When the kids go into laser tag, will they be choosing their own teams?
A: When a birthday party plays laser tag, the birthday boy/girl will be able to choose two friends to be on their team, and a staff member will split the remaining kids into two teams. If you would like to preselect the teams beforehand, please bring a written list with you and give it to your party helper before the game starts.
Q: Am I allowed to bring in any decorations?
A: Yes. You are more than welcome to bring in decorations, however we do recommend that they be kept to a minimum simply because the kids will not be spending a ton of time in the party room, and each room is already themed. The only things we ask that you do not bring are pinatas or confetti.
